What angelic night was this?
A halo of mid-morning curls,
oceaning quaintly (offbeat) over the soft
corner of the pillow
Where my lips
surrender
to her skin.
She stirs
and turns
to face me.
I can see her eyes opening
and I'm preparing,
Sunshine.
The day truly begins.
Oh, the ocean and the sky
gossip
about the blue tendency
of her smile
and the gold inclination
of her eyes.
And I don't
understands why
she doesn't simply
collapse
under the weight
of all the love
she effortlessly
burdens
for the rest of us.
I took her to
my favorite place in the world
and
I could tell
she had fallen in love
before we arrived.
It's midnight
and
the constellations,
such sweet women,
yearn for my eyes.
But I'm squinting
into the dull light
churning
love
and
everyday conversation
as
to not frighten her off.
And
In four months
she'll leave
without hesitation.
And
In four months
I'll treasure her
with obstruction.
But
I continue
to brush
the sleep
from her eyes
and kiss her
awake.

All the dreams you had were once so, crystal clear, yes my heart it tells me so
In the past, you took hold of all your fears, and in the dark you helped me know
Every day feels like I'm in a brand new year, when my heart follows your flow
You moved me past all of the sad and flowing tears, helped me up and helped me grow
